USING OUR TIME, TALENT & TREASURE FOR SJNRCS
-
VIRTUS training outlines appropriate behavior when dealing with children, and is for the protection of both the adult volunteer and our students. VIRTUS training is required for all people who wish to volunteer at SJNRCS this includes serving as a room parent, assisting with a center in the class, club or after-school activity, and chaperoning a field trip and others as deemed necessary. You must pre-register for a VIRTUS training session. Seating is limited in each session and is offered at multiple parishes within the Archdiocese.
Click here to view and select upcoming VIRTUS training sessions that have been scheduled in our area. Please follow the directions to register.

Home and School Association
Our Parent and School Volunteer Service Organization is the Home and School Association (HSA). All school families are automatically members of the HSA. The St. John Neumann Regional Catholic School Home and School Association is led by a committee of parent volunteers and school representatives who work under the direction of the Principal. HSA-sponsored events are funded and coordinated to benefit the students, faculty, parents, and school.
Through the Home and School Association, families have the opportunity to exemplify one of our core values: service. Working together with administration, faculty, and staff, parents and grandparents give of their time and talent to the school community. Our school is enriched by the many committed parent volunteers who are the heart and soul of our organization.
HSA is committed to expanding the educational programs offered to students through a variety of fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and student and family activities. Parents have ample opportunities to donate their time and talent on a daily basis – from volunteering in classrooms to coordinating fundraisers, special events, and projects, and providing transportation for ministries and field trips.
Home and School Co-Presidents
We have four formal HSA meetings this school year, and we would like everyone to attend. For now, these meetings will be held online; a link will be sent out prior to the scheduled time.
You will earn one mandatory volunteer hour for attending!
