For more than 20 years, Terry DelBosque has been the heart of kindergarten at St. John Neumann Regional Catholic School. Through every colorful classroom, thoughtful craft, morning smile, and loving tradition, she helped shape kindergarten into the special place it is today. Who remembers doing the Tooty Ta?
Mrs. DelBosque often joked that she loved kindergarten so much, she just never left - and anyone who knows her believes it. She brought joy and magic to every school day while teaching lessons that went far beyond academics. Her reminders about “filling each other’s buckets” inspired generations of students to lead with kindness, compassion, and love.
Every child who walked through her classroom doors knew they were cared for. She had a gift for making students feel seen, safe, important, and deeply loved - something alumni still remember years later. And every little fingerprint tucked away in a parent’s memory box was likely an idea she started or a craft she lovingly helped create. From handprint keepsakes to colorful classroom treasures, Mrs. DelBosque made childhood memories that families will cherish forever.
While we celebrate her retirement from the classroom, not to worry… we will still be seeing Mrs. DelBosque around the halls as she joins our beloved “Coffee Crusaders,” the cherished group of OG retired teachers who continue to make SJN feel like home.
Thank you, Mrs. DelBosque, for the countless lives you have touched and for making SJN kindergarten so incredibly special. Your love and legacy will live on for generations to come.
