Mrs. Blake comes to us from Our Lady of the Assumption Preschool, where she taught Pre-K for the past three years. At OLA, she led a team of Pre-K teachers to fulfill a curriculum that included a new phonemic awareness program for the Archdiocesan preschools. This year is her twelfth year serving in the Pre-K classroom. Mrs. Blake is looking forward to offering valuable learning experiences for our youngest children, as well as helping them grow in their Catholic faith by helping deepen their awareness of God’s presence in their daily lives.
Mrs. Blake grew up on Long Island, NY, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Political Science, from the University of Massachusetts, at Amherst. She and her husband Paul, have lived in Atlanta for thirty years. Their son, Nick, is a graduate of St. Pius X, Catholic High School.
Mrs. Blake enjoys walking with her two terriers, Max, and Leo, doing yoga, and singing in the Celebration Choir, at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
