Jennifer Neu has taught various grades at St. John Neumann and is excited to return teaching in our Middle School. She feels like it is her second home. She excels at teaching to multiple learning styles and keeping up on the latest methods in teaching. Jennifer was honored to have received St. Elizabeth Seton teaching award when she taught in Ohio.
Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Dayton with a Master’s Degree in Early Education of the Handicapped and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She is certified to teach: K -5 elementary, Middle School 6-8 Social Studies and Language Arts, Preschool and Special Education Preschool. She has presented at state wide conference regarding her research on collaborate and working with families of children with learning disabilities.
Jennifer has served many roles within her parish and the community. In addition to being a CCD teacher, Eucharistic Minister, and a couple’s marriage sponsor with her husband Rick, Jennifer’s current ministry is with the Jail and Detention Center where she writes to those incarcerated and encourages them to feel God’ s mercy, understanding and forgiveness. Within the community she served as Chairperson for Public Relations and on the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House.
