Every year, the Annual Fund provides resources that help bridge the gap between tuition and the school’s operating budget enabling SJNRCS to extend its commitment to outstanding education through teaching, scholarship, and spiritual tradition. The Annual Fund is critical to continuing the school’s leadership in academics and formation for generations to come.
WHAT IS THE ANNUAL FUND?
The Annual Fund is the largest and most important fundraising project of the year. We rely on your Annual Fund gift to support the current year’s budget. Everyone’s participation is important. Every student benefits. Every gift matters. Every gift is appreciated and added to the Annual Report.
WHY DO WE HAVE AN ANNUAL FUND?
Annual Fund donations are not “bonus” dollars. They are a part of the budgeted operating revenues. Tuition covers 87% of the actual cost of educating each student. Without the Annual Fund, SJNRCS would have to increase tuition, cut the budget and/or reduce staff/faculty.
HOW ARE ANNUAL FUND DOLLARS USED?
The Annual Fund will be used to help cover the difference between the cost of student tuition and the actual cost to educate each student. Annual Fund gifts are unrestricted which allows the school to determine their use and avoid operating at a deficit. If Annual Fund donations exceed the budgeted amount, they will be used to address other fiscal needs of the school as determined by the Principal.
